Patient Information
The eToims® Technique is a unique, non-invasive, proprietary therapy for individuals with acute and chronic nerve-related muscle pain, including those healthy individuals interested in a new lifestyle for enhancing and preserving their physical health. The eToims® Technique is a significant advancement in our understanding of the nerve and muscle functions of the human body, and is a treatment for relieving and reducing neuromuscular pain and discomfort. This results in restoring, reviving, and rejuvenating muscle mobility and overall health.
The eToims® Technique seeks to locate tight and damaged nerve-muscle meeting areas which cause back pain, fibromyalgia, neck pain, shoulder pain, and other common forms of neuromuscular dysfunction. eToims® is the acronym for The Electrical Twitch Obtaining Intramuscular Stimulation Technique, and was developed by Jennifer Chu, M.D., Emeritus Associate Professor of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, University of Pennsylvania who pioneered eToims®-related pain research since 1990. The eToims® Technique is currently available at the Soft Tissue Comfort Center in University City, Philadelphia, with daily, weekly, bi-weekly, and customized sessions available. eToims® is now available for sale in the European Union and Canada to individuals and families that wish to improve overall wellness and total body health on a home-use basis. Besides primary current application in nerve related muscle pain, by improving local circulation eToims may find application in prevention and treatment of other conditions, such as hypertension, cardiac disease, cerebrovascular disease and cancer.
