Specifications

eToims® ET127 TECHNICAL DATA

Indications for Use
eToims® ET127 a constant current stimulator for use during neurological monitoring and assessment in a clinical environment. It is used for evoking muscle twitch responses at motor points to diagnose and assess electrical activity in individuals with potentially involved peripheral nerve and skeletal muscle tissue associated with muscle pain and/or discomfort, muscle weakness, muscle spasm or aberrant sensation. It is designed to be used by personnel trained in The eToims® Technique of motor point stimulation.

Mains voltage selector
Selects between 115 and 230 VAC voltage

Electrical characteristics
Output is completely inhibited when the unit is not timing a session.
– Maximal stimulus repetition rate is internally limited to 3 Hz (10%). Internal repetition rate adjustable between OFF and 3 Hz in 0.1 Hz steps (5%).
– Pulse widths are selectable from 50, 100, 200, 300, 400, 500, 1000 and 2000 £gs.
– Pulse width accuracy w/ relation to front panel display: 5%
– Compliance voltage: 400 V.
– Maximum stimulus current: 100 mA output accuracy with relation to LCD display 5%.
– Medically compliant mains filter combined with dual pole 5 mm fuses and dual pole power switch.

Inputs:
– Rear panel has a 3.5 mm mono Jack Socket connector. This input has no effect when the unit is inhibited.
– Mains inlet in rear panel receives a standard IEC main plug. There is a combined power switch to enable the user to switch unit off without having to remove the power lead.

Definitions:
Credit: Total remaining time that unit will allow patient diagnosis. Credit is refilled by obtaining a specific refill code after payment in the e-commerce section of www.etoims.com.

Session Timer: Maintains the remaining time for the current diagnosis session to run. When the Session Timer has run down to zero, the Session State is changed to Stopped. The Session Timer is maintained as Minutes and Seconds.

Session State: There are three session states: “Stopped”, “Paused” and “Running”.
– Stopped: In this state, output is inhibited. Session Timer can be incremented and the menu navigated.
– Paused: Temporarily stops Session Timer with output being inhibited. Session Timer can be incremented but it is not possible to navigate the menu.
– “Running”: Output is not inhibited, stimulus pulses are produced at the rate displayed on the LCD, Session Timer counts down.
